Tunneling my way out
A so called "frenemy" pulled me aside at work to tell me about two mistakes I had allegedly made on patient discharges. One was not mentioning a CT scan that the patient hadn't had before the discharge was written (then subsequently printed off by a junior doctor without reading it and adding said test) the other was adding a medication that was being with held....once again printed off by someone else before being checked. I knew the **** had been *****ing about me to everyone because :
a) she is a dimwitted dickhead whose only ability in life is to prattle on about herself and her grandiose achievements i.e. "I told the Nurse Practitioner that she was in the wrong...blah blah blah". Ad sound of wind blowing through the cavernous spaces in her head.
b)She kept saying "I'm the kind of person to come straight to you Kirstin so you won't hear me going from the floor up to the management telling tales" already caught her four times slagging me off to a room full of nurses in her moronic droning voice soooo yehhhhhhh! I'm gonna have to ask you to move your desk back a bit further....oh is that my stapler? I'm just gonna go ahead and take that.....
c) She is deeply resentful that she's been there 16 years and never been promoted and I've been there 6.5 and have moved up two bandings. She is thick as my morning turds and as appealing.
In short she is another stirling reason why I should get out of the sinking ship and leave the whining incompetents to their own ****ty devices.
I'm applying to start my Offshore medic and survival courses in January 2012. It will cost me (my credit card) £2500 to study and then I'll hopefully be earning about £6000 a month. That's £3500 more then I can get in the NHS a month. I'll travel the world and work primarily with blokes.....thank fuck! Did I add I get 6 months off a year?
I only hope one day I get to run over said **** stain in my new car .........that is my happy thought.

Its always ironic how "those people" never look to themselves as the reason they've never been promoted, etc. Its ALWAYS someone else's fault.

When the highway was decommissioned, sections of the road were disposed of in various ways. Within many cities, the route became a "business loop" for the interstate. Some sections became state roads, local roads, private drives, or were abandoned completely. Although it is no longer possible to drive Route 66 uninterrupted all the way from Chicago to Los Angeles, much of the original route and alternate alignments are still drivable with careful planning. Some stretches are quite well preserved, including one between Springfield, Missouri, and Tulsa, Oklahoma. Some sections of Route 66 still retain their historic eight-foot-wide "sidewalk highway" form, never having been resurfaced to make them into full-width highways.
However, I have to ask: Do you know the way to San Jose?
