Yes, Dr. G is my doctor too.  I had DS 8/15/11.  Love him and the PA Mike.

I am doing fabulous!!!!  No pain meds since hospital, walking moderate amount, no nausea (I take it really slow though), drinking well, I could be doing a bit better with protein but I advance that everyday as well.  I am starting to add in more than just multi-vitamins, chewables, of course!  My incisions are all healed, first post-op appointment went great (lost 33 lbs from 8/10-8/24).  I potty once a day for now. 


PS- Does anyone know when the next support group is and the topic?


Reynolds 4_4- I encourage you to read over this board, tons of info.  Also, go to the support groups at the hospital and get an Angel/Buddy---the DSer's there are so nice and friendly.  Made me feel so much better to have someone to ask questions. Someone to call or e-mail, and two wonderful members visited me in the hospital!

Hello!  Thank you for the encouraging words!  I have many emotions right now and I'm sure they will continue as I get closer to January.
