has anyone heard of or taken this? dr inmans pa prescribed it for me and i want to gather as much info as possible before i take any of it.

I've taken it and I know Melody has as well for chronic constipation.

I don't think it did anything but it's worth a try.

it is mainly used to treat stomach pain, bloating and chronic constipation.

Amitiza was highly touted by Takeda and is currently it's number 2 drug behind Actos, I believe. It is for chronic constipation of unknown origin in women.

It's supposed to be generally well tolerated but a lot of reports of headache and nausea.
