Funny post as I too often thought the same thing.....how everyone says it differently.  Being from Texas I say it doo-oh-dee num!!   :)   I like Diana's suggestion!!

I'm a baby-do-oh-dee-num
Pick your surgery first, then your surgeon. Not the other way around.
PS:... Potato chips should be a food group.

I'm tired of screwing with that damn health widget.
I've lost 125 pounds to date!!!!
   And I'm UNDER 190 now!!!

My anatomy professor taught me to say 'do-ODD-d'num', but most medical people I talk with say 'DO-o-DEE-num'.

I love this post...my hubby actually "conversated" with me about how this is said...my surgeon Dr. Smith say doo-oh-denum in his video so he said i must be saying it wrong. I told him its either way.

i was taught Doo-ah-dnum in nursing school and i like how i flows:) He was proven (somewhat wrong) when he discuss the surgery with a dr friend and he pronouncd it the way i do! After all these years he still hasnt learned that im RARELY wrong!!! HAHA

Band to DS

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!
