I am ALIVE!! ...

Hello Everyone...
This is not going to be a long post... I just wanted to sign on and tell everyone that I made it through that surgery.... things went pretty smooth... I am home (at my mom's resting) ... and I wanted to thank everyone for their support and information...

I will be back on in a few days to check in and see how everyone is doing.....

Same here.  I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, because we have so many pre-ops right now who are feeling so vulnerable already, but I am so glad to hear from Jody, that she is doing well.

I think we need to be more proactive in making sure that EVERY new DSer has an angel who can report their progress and keep in touch with that persons family/friends/supporters.  I always thought that it would be best if they could find an angel who lives close to their surgery hospital, and maybe even visit them.  Wenda did that for me, and I am eternally grateful, plus I had an excellent angel in Jewel509.  I am thinking now maybe being close by isnt so important as just making sure that every new DSer has an angel.

And, to Jody, welcome to the bench and I am elated to hear that you are doing well!
