I've only spoken to Diana on the phone and she is as sweet as can be. Don't let her harshness confuse you, she really does care and has a heart of gold.

Sometimes walking away is as hard as it is necessary. In the past few days I've had to learn that the hard way. I'm lucky that I have vets to look up to and to turn to when dealing with a sticky situation.

I thought is was pretty compassionate of you that after reading of her woes, and getting yourself in a "dither", at odd hours, you proceeded to call on friends you knew who could be in a position to help, despite having never met this person.

Your detractors may still think your a ***** but I wonder how many of them would have done that for a person they didn't know.

I so agree advise is like a gift, and you cant help what people do with a gift.
I know everyone on here really cares or they would not be here helping people no matter how you may react to the outcome.
