Don't judge a book by it's cover or a doctor by his "nurse"

I'm glad you found a cooperative PCP!   Perhaps in time, you can put the bug in his ear about how he  might need to encourage his staff to bone up on their patient courtesy skills, etc.

I have the same problem finding things in smaller sizes and when I do, I grab 'em.   I tend to wear a size 2, but often have to settle for 4's.    BUT - the other day my daugther and I spent a good three hours haunting TJ Maxx......they never have much in the smaller sizes, but when they do, it's often way cheap.   Bought a pair of size 2 Tommy Hilfiger skinny jeans for $20 (my first-ever pair of Tommy Hilfiger anything) and another pair of cropped pants in a 2 for $10.   Got a BUNCH of XS or small sweaters for $5!

Funny but he actually talked about that sort of in code.  He said he missed working around academia because the people there had "motivation" that he was finding lacking in "the real world."  I'm pretty sure he was talking about his staff. LOL.

I NEVER see size 2s Julie.  Rarely do I even see 4s.  I just can't wear a six very often unless it is some really high end pricey thing which I just don't even look at.

I'm glad you had a successful shopping trip!!!  I've never had TH anything either.  Maybe I should check out TJMaxx soon!!

Becky, A little off subject here....but when my oldest daughter was in JR high and had been seeing her Arthritis specialist since she was in 1st grade, he decided to go into private practice...(no longer in a group setting) and he posted signs in his office and waiting rooms.."if you are ever rude or disrespectful to my staff, you will be fired as a patient." I thought wow, people are rude to them? Then, at that time, his staff were always rude to us....I thought you know, this can go both ways...Sad but true. But, I was told from another Dr of hers at that time, "Finding a good Doctor is like riding a horse, if you don't like it, just get off and find another one!"
Hope you have a wonderful weekend and maybe a date!??

Wow I've never seen a sign like that!!  That would be pretty off-putting.

I've decided to wait on the dating thing.  I'm just not ready.  Once I sell my house and get myself settled maybe I'll rethink it.  It was good to find out that I can get asked out tho I have to admit.

Glad you found a new doc that you might be able to build a good patient/doc relationship with.  I've noticed more and more of my docs/specialists are younger than me these days, but with that seems to come an openess or willingness to learn about their patients and anything medically related.  Imo a lot of the older docs seem to act like they have seen and know it all so you couldn't possibly know what you are talking about when it comes to your health.  I've booted more than one doc over the years for as much...or for having incompetent staff that kept making unforgivable mistakes.
