I hadn't followed her story. I see she got SCREWED by Husted, and then agreed to let the inexperienced Juarez do the surgery - a REVISION surgery. MTHRFCKRS. Both of them.

She was 26.

You are absolutely stop on. What a scumbag he is to leave without assisting and what a ignorant ass Juarez was to do the surgery without assistance. What a shame!!!! That just shows how desperate she was to have the surgery knowing that he didn't have the proper experience. She just wanted what we all want "to be free from obesity". God bless her!!!

oh my gosh, I had no idea, she was only a child, I am not sure what happened, could someone please post when they have more information. I know she was going for band to DS revision,,,I think she had kids too. she had such a sweet angel face, may God console her family and friends, she will be missed on this board.....

As per her boyfriend this is all we know:

"Due to complications with Stephanie's DS surgery (at the moment we are not sure what exactly), Stephanie passed away on the morning of 8/13/11. I have finally managed to get into her computer and on here in order to tell you all at her final request."

I've messaged him in hopes of getting the final outcome. He's closing down her facebook page as per her final requests so I'm hoping this isn't the last I'll here from him.

Poor guy, they loved each other soo much!
