PLEASE tell me you are not still having your lap band revision to DS surgery with Juarez on September 1st ?

 
I wouldn't do it.  Tonight I learned he has assisted on six, that's all.  No DS surgeries himself.

My own surgeon explains DS as a skill and an art.  He has the skill, after many many assistant surgeries he's finally learned the art.

Don't do it.  Please.  I'm begging.

Holy crap, I am so sorry to hear this! She was so pretty and so young.

OMG!! I am so saddened to hear this....
It brings me back to the fact that this is a serious surgery and there are risks associated with it....
I can not deny that it hightens my fears a bit... but will not stop me...
My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this most difficult time...

Jody, your fears are understandable. Just remember, though, that you have chosen one of the best DS surgeons in the country, and that he also has lots of revision experience. You will be in good hands.
