Hello Everyone.... I got the official call... my surgery with DR Roslin is tomorrow morning @ 10:30AM.... I have to be at the hospital @ 8:30AM... so I will be leaving my house at 5:00AM to catch the train from New Haven....I don't know what I am feeling.... I am a bundle of nerves and emotions...But I am ready....

Please send prayers and critters and whatever else you do :)

Deep breaths! Breathe deep, close your eyes and visualize a positive outcome. Going into surgery as relaxed, focused and positive as you can (well, as you can under the cir****tances) will go a long way in helping with your recovery afterwards.

Unfortunately, I had to delete this post due to privacy concerns.

Got a lap band in 2008. Tried hard, but didn't lose much weight & developed swallowing problems. Fought my insurance company for almost a year & finally had a band to DS revision on 5/11/12. Have now lost 125 pounds. Yay!

YAY JODI! i agree with Kathleen, deep breaths and think positive. As we know its been a hard time on the board BUT you have a great surgeon and you will do awesome!
