Thinking I need to go to ER for anemia

Please get to the ER ASAP.  THis really has nothing to do with your surgeon.  You need to be seen by an Ob/GYN and if you don't have one, they will have to find you one in the ER.  About 2 weeks ago, I had surgery for kidney stones and as a complication of the surgery, I lost a lot of blood - I was peeing blood for 2 days. In those days, my hemoglobin went from 11.9 to 8.1.  They thought I was going to need a transfusion.  My platelets also went from 200 to 67.  Thankfully, the bleeding slowed down and my numbers increased a bit and I didn't need the transfusion.  I am now out of the hospital a week and my hemoglobin is up to 10.4 and my platelets are back up to 170, so all turned out okay.

YOu have been bleeding for a month and you still are.  You  need to find the source of the bleeding and stop it.  If your hemoglobin goes below 8, you will need a transfusion.

Don't put it off, you won't be any good to your girls if you pass out.  Find a neighbor or relative that can watch the girls.  Go now.
