Insurance???

 Hi I am new and have a question I have started the journey to having my surgery done I have medicare and have been told they will pay all but $3000.00 I also have Tenncare Medicaid as secondary insurance should they not pay the $3000.00.....I live in TN thanks for your help

You'll have to check with the Medicaid people. This varies a great deal from state to state. Or you could try asking on the TN board.

The good news is that Medicare covers the DS. Make sure you use a vetted surgeon who meets the Medicare qualifications. Both the surgeon *and* the hospital must be qualified under Medicare.

 Worth a call to insurance, but I wouldn't be surprised if they pick up the remainder.  Good luck!
