VSG revision to DS?
This possibly may be my third weight loss surgery. I had no success with the LB, was always throwing up my food, etc. A year later I had the VSG lost 30 lbs and then gained 17 lbs.
I know that I need help. I am under a Therapist care right now for my emotional eating. I am considering the DS because I want the extra help with my weight loss.
Just wanted to see how many other previous VSGers do now with their Switch. Any advice, comments?

I'm a virgin DS and a newbie but I wanted to congratulate you for recognizing the fact that it's an emotional journey as well. Great job on getting the counseling you need and awesome job on coming to the boards for assistance. It seems like you may just be on the right path after all!

Yes, I'm hoping to get a Laproscopic DS. Hopefully it will help me with the rest of my weight loss. I don't know if you have to wait a certain time to get the DS done after the Sleeve to lose more weight. Or if that does not even matter.

You'll get no harsh words from me, surgery veteran than I am. Crap band x2, VSGx2 and FINALLY DS w/ Dr. B. in Spain. The process of wt. loss has many paths and no one has the right to judge you. Please be aware that revisions lose slower and you may/may not get to a goal wt. you desire. What size is your current sleeve?? It is also a more difficult surgery to re-sleeve and some surgeons will only do the intestinal portion of the surgery. It is VITAL that you use a very experienced DS surgeon.

I have been insulted and felt ashamed in the past and from some people that you would not expect to treat you that way, my doctor and psyciatrist. I don't remember what size my current sleeve is.
