hi all
Is it normal for the skin around the j-tube to get red,and it looks a little blistery. How can i keep this in for 6 weeks.

Hi Dana,

I just emailed Dr. K about this over the weekend.  He says it's normal and to try coating around the tube with Maalox (yep, the white stuff you drink).  I haven't had a chance to try that, but I did tape the tube so it wasn't laying on the sore spot, and it was much better this morning.  Also, I haven't been  wearing my binder much, and it seems to help to let it breathe.

I think I will try the Maalox.

Thanks
