Start planning for MT next year in July. That's the perfect time here, best chances of perfect weather. If you want crowds to party with, plan to include either the 4th or watch www.montanafolkfestival.com for those dates. (FABULOUS weekend BTW. Can't say enough good about how well that went this year.)
