If you want fruit, eat fruit- just get your protein in first and stick to lower glycemic fruit like berries. Just be careful and try a little at a time in case the tummy protests, of course
I eat any RAW fruit I want, but I don't eat cooked or canned fruit. Mostly because I don't LIKE coooked or canned fruit, but also because it tends to be higher in sugar. But whatever's in season is usually in my kitchen.
