One year out today

I will be posting my very own surgiversary post.  Thanks to you guys here....I know I have a safety net strung up under me.  Thanks for the positive words. 

Well look at you go now Charlee; you're doing great even with the extra problems. You'll get them figured out and get where you want to be. Your avatar sure looks like one happy girl!

Thank you for the update -- good to see the parts that are going well, boo to the things that are not.  With such high TSH, I am impressed that you are still working and did this post.
I totally agree about being so glad to learn of the DS in time -- I shudder to think that I initially thought I wanted a LapBand.

You're doing awesome Charlee, even with the thyroid issue!  Thyroid issues and weight loss makes it a hard way to go.

I read, study, and live on this forum trying to learn and pray for a DS.  People like you, the vets, and even the new post ops make it a valuable learning experience to people like me who are preop Wannabees.
