Oh and DS is referred to in past tense. I think she has made it just a slight variation of BPD rather than a departure, but hey, it's a start.

Thanks for sharing, Michelle. I was interested in what she said about vitamin A and dry eyes. I have terrible problems with dry eyes; I always attributed it to the lasic surgery I had years ago. As a RNYer, I've always been mostly concerned with magnesium, iron, calcium and B12. It seems a still have a lot to learn.
There are a specific set of things we malabsorb. She touched on them, but didn't hit them all.
