Oh my, this is just terrible. We all know there's risk involved, but it sure seems no one ever expects anything bad to happen and when it does it's such a shock to everyone. Linda and her family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Just got off the phone with Gordon. He said she'll be in Mt. Sinai for at least a month. He can only stay until Friday, and they really can't afford the hotels. He's staying on the Jersey side in kind of a seedy area. I wish I had an extra room.

Keep those critters swinging and those prayers coming. Linda needs them!

I have an extra room, unfortunately I live pretty far from NYC and we are going to be moving so the house will be in upheaval.
Not to mention I'll be out of the house from Wednesday to I'm not sure when.

Can the hospital hook him up with the equivalent of a Ronald McDonald house place where family members can stay when a loved one is hospitalized long-term?  Just a thought to avoid the hotel costs.
