6 Month Update (Long)
You have definitely not had an easy ride. I hope things continue to improve for you and you can one day say that you love your DS. I love your positive attitude!
I just wanted to mention....prescription D is not what we need or absorb. Sometimes even the best of surgeons don't realize this. It's normally D2 and often times packed in oil. You can verify that with your pharmacist. You can't get Vitamin D3 dry in a prescription, so taking the mega doses from Vitalady is normally the route we have to go.

I thought that pill was all wrong! You're right, it's green and packed in oil. All of my DS synapses were screaming "get thee to Vitalady!" but the script was only $10 and I figured...well, anyway, thanks.

I'm glad that things are beginning to improve. I wanted to let you know that I am also a puker. I puked 3 or 4 days a time literally for the first two months. It has subsided but I still puke 3 or 4 times a week. I'm not overating or eating too fast. I still time my eating and usually can tell with the first three or 4 bites whether or not it's going to work or not. I have also been waking up in the middle of the night because I've puked in my sleep. I recently went for my 6 month and they increaed my prilosec to three spaced out during the day. I can't tell you how much this has helped. I've only puked once this week so far. Most insurances will give you grief over more than one tablet per day but your surgeon's office should be able to fight the insurance company for "medical necessity" and have it covered. Mine did.
Hope you continue to get better.
