Just for a "bump" for people who are having protein trouble.

I put mine together in this order:

1) 4 oz half & half or heavy whipping cream in the Blender Bottle (so I'll know how much I put in and what to count in my food stuff for the day).  The wire doesn't displace much at all.

2****

3) Two tablespoons of sugar free flavored syrup (I didn't get a pump with my syrup purchase ), poured over the ice so it's nice and flavored

4) Add coffee up to 3/4 of the way (don't overfill or you'll have problems with #5)

5) Two full scoops of Champion Whey Pure Stack Chocolate (nothing else works for me)

Blend and enjoy!  I drink at least two per day now, and I've got my DH to do at least one.  I crave these things like crazy.

Thanks again, Lori!

I wanted to share with you my process for making my favorite recipe with my Champion Nutrition chocolate protein powder.  When done, I feel this rivals Starbuck's iced caramel frappucino.  I no longer go to Starbuck's for their fraps, now I just go there to buy the syrup!  Believe me, $7.95 per week on syrup is an incredible savings over what I used spend at Starbucks!!

These are the ingredients I use:

*Decaf coffee brewed (Can be used hot or cold)  Regular coffee can be used of course.
(I brew a pot a day, and just keep it in a large cup in my fridge or on the countertop)
*Champion Nutrition Pure Whey Stack in the chocolate flavor  (Best price at Allstarhealth.com)
*Starbucks sugar free caramel ($7.95 for 32 oz, purchased from Starbucks, of course)
*Stevia sweetener packets (or any sugar substitute) (TrueVia is my fave, I get this from Costco)
*Heavy whipping cream (Best price is at Costco, half gallon for less than $6)
*Large blender bottle, the 28 oz size (Best price @ Luckyvitamin.com)

I don't have any exacts, so I've put this into pictures to make it easier to duplicate.

All of the ingredients I use.

Start by filling a Blender Bottle full with ice

Next fill your shaker about 3/4 full of coffee  (I use the verticle stripes along the side to measure)

Next, add desired amount of heavy whipping cream

Now add two pumps of sugar free caramel syrup

Next add two packets of favorite sugar substitute

Now add 1.5 scoops of Champion Nutrition Chocolate protein powder (2 scoops if you like it more chocolate flavored)

Now just put on the lid to the shaker and shake until smooth

No joke guys, if you're having trouble drinking protein, this is the BEST tasting recipe I've come up with yet.  I CRAVE my protein shakes and can't wait until it's time for the next!!!!

OMG!  I have NEVER, and I mean never, enjoyed a protein drin****il today.  This tastes exactly like the Starbucks Carmel Frap.  I have to say, I was quite skeptical when I was reading the post.  I've heard sooooo many "try it - it's amazing" protein drink stories, however this is actually ENJOYABLE and delicious!!  Thank you SO SO MUCH!  Any other protein drink recipes you enjoy that you would share?!  Thank you again!!

I so very much need to find a protein that I can drink on a regular basis without barfing.

So I saw this, realized I had none of the essential ingredients on hand, and basically started crying.    I thought I'd try something "similar" to tide me over.

Don't try this at home under any cir****tances:

Trying to get a taste of the deliciousness that's possible, I went out to Starbucks and got an iced cinnamon dolce latte, poured it in a shaker, and added some off-brand vanilla flavored protein, shook, tasted.  Bad idea! This crap is worse than a shake by itself.

I will be sticking to the original recipe!  To the grocery store I go...
