You know, it's the weirdest thing. People on here talk about heavy whipping cream, all the time. But I have yet to EVER see it in any grocery store. All I can ever find is half & half. Am I gonna have to buy a freaking cow and make some myself?? LOL

This recipe sounds absolutely delicious and if I ever find any heavy whipping cream, I'll def give it a shot!

Sounds great! Have you ever tried putting it in the blender to make the ice cubes all chopped up?

Can you buy the Starbuck's Syrups in Canada? I seem to think that SB in Canada uses either DaVinci or Torani.

You could buy them at starbucks, they just have them at the back, it's 9.99 and they have 4 flavours.

Love it - you go girl - preach truth!!!! Champion Pure Whey Choc Stack is the lone ranger among tontos, the cherry to the sundae, you get the drift; it's the best. I do have to admit that I am still a huge fan of Oregon Chai Sugar Free mixed with IDS Cinnamon Vanilla (warm, with sf caramel added- rivals any chai tea I've had), but, in winter months if I want a straight lets get it down the hatch, 3oz of hot (not too hot) water with a scoop and a half of Choc Stack mixes quickly and goes down smoothly like a dark hot cocoa drink.

Lori (or anyone who knows) :D

My bottle or syrup didn't come with a pump so I'm not sure how much syrup to measure out. Any ideas?

Thanks!

ETA** I just made it with 4 TBSP of syrup and it's pretty good! I'm going to play around with it a bit to see what works. YUM!

Thanks Lori! I wanted to bring your recipe to the front again so some others will find it.

I didn't have champion choc on hand so I made it with a vitalady choc/vanilla sample.  I also had half and half instead of whipping cream.  I used DaVinci caramel and I used 1 packet of stevia.  Overall, still great.  l found it a bit sweet so next time I will cut the stevia right out but there will definitely be a next time!
