I use only decaf coffee (now anyway because I was drinking far too much caffeine).  However, I'm guessing the shake would be good made the same way with tea, or even replace water where I use coffee...beware I haven't tried EITHER of these, but not sure why they wouldn't work.

Good luck!

Hi Lori,
I remember from your YouTube that you had a lot of problems with food intolerances. Do you basically drink shakes in liu of food now? I personally only drink one shake a day as a "booster" because I get over 100gr from food.
I guess if I had a shake that tasted as good as a frappé I'd drink more of them too though thanks for the recipe

I do have several food intolerances including an intolerance to milk, and also an intolerance to wheat products of any kind, but I still eat the hell outta every other food that I can.  I eat all meats, cheeses, nuts, eggs, raw veggies work better than cooked so I do salads, and then I drink shakes as well.  I do have days when I drink MOSTLY shakes, but only when I'm being lazy if I'm being honest.  I like my shakes and I drink them because they are the most absorbable form of protein out there.  I still usually get 100 grams from foods every day, but I also drink the shakes because there is no other food available that has the bioavailability of protein like whey protein shakes.

I should probably add a second shake

I have seen people add a shake or two to their regime only to start dropping more weight....so beware, the scale might drop on you quickly!  Lol!  SUCH a horrible thing to endure!  Heh heh!!!  You are doing awesome on your loss, btw!!!

Thanks for the compliment. I'm thinking of adding the shake just to be "healthier". Hopefully it'll help preserve some muscle

How much is "a scoop?"  I have the sample packets and they list "a serving" as 32 g or half a packet.  Does your product tell you how much protein powder you have in "a scoop?'

The Champion lists a scoop as 32 g that is equal to 23 grams of protein.
