Century Club...12 weeks and one day...PICS!
I guess that I'm not going to be much help here in that I didn't really have any long period of doubt. I didn't hop on my scale every day though either so it wasn't a constant reminder. I just saw the weight consistently coming off as time progressed. I did see the rate of loss slow down but I guess I wasn't really expecting to keep losing at 25lbs a month forever. I would have gotten worried pretty quickly if it had continued for too long honestly.
For me it was a matter of finding other things to distract myself with. Like, when I got bored with the regular food routines and couldn't keep myself energized through that then I would spend more energy on researching vitamins and making sure I was doing all I could there. If that wasn't gonna work then I eventually began needing new bras and belts. All else could be cinched up and in but those two things are hard to fake. Believe me, a well fitted bra does AMAZING things for your self-esteem, motivation and appearance.
I know the 1st 100 came off pretty easy and fast and the 2nd 100 was slower, really it was only the last 50, but honestly, I didn't really have to "work" for it either. I think if you are good with the rules and enjoy the way a DS'r eats then you will make it. You and I absolutely have the weight to lose and our bodies (hopefully will work the same) want to be rid of it. I mean, seriously, your body dumped all this weight this fast. Even if it slowed down quite a bit you still have the vast majority of your 18 month "window" left in front of you. Do not sweat this!!!!! Just work your DS.
I also have to admit that I know I would have made it past goal by now if I had continued focused and committed to the rules. Things in my life became incredibly traumatic this year and I lost many people very dear to me. I gave in and got a bit lazy. I have continued to lose but at a much slower rate and there are weeks when I am losing the weight that I gained back the week before.
I also know that I should have probably started exercising a while ago. I have meant to all along but I hate it. I need to work on getting back some of the muscle and strength that I have lost along this process. I will do it soon. I promise. That should also do fun things for my weight loss. Who knows?
You are doing all the right things. Protein, low carb, water, water, water, vitamins......and more vitamins. Hugs to you, honey. You will get there!

First of all CONGRATS! That is such an amazing accomplishment and loss! WOW!
Now, as to those clothes... They may be "wearable" but they certainly do NOT fit. Girl, they are hangin off you! If it helps, I have gone down from a size 20 (or 22) to a size 14 (sometimes 12), and I can still "wear" anything I owned that was stretchy (in fact, I have on an old pair of yoga pants and a 3XL sweatshirt today). They stay up, but they don't fit... My butt looks like I've a load of bricks back there the pants are so baggy! Fitted clothing (jeans especially) you will definitely be a different size. Your changes are dramatic, most definitely noticeable! And you look GREAT!

You've made amazing progress, Leslie, and stared down more than your share of challenges! I'm confident you'll succeed in every goal you set for yourself, including this one! The difference is already very clear.
