I hopped on the scale this morning, and after holding firm at 350lbs since October 8th, the scale says 348.4! Century Club! Here is a pic of the scale, altho u can't see it very well

So I'll give ya some stats:

Surgery weight 448lbs with a BMI of 64.3
Ideal weight 174 (that will be a BMI of 25)
So I have 274lbs of excess body weight
Current Weight 348lbs with a BMI of 49.9

I have lost 36% of my EWL!! (If my math is correct but wouldn't be shocking if it was not)

I'm still wearing the same clothes, as you can see. Kinda sucks. I don't notice 100lbs gone. Looks more like 30 maybe 40.  Ah well.

No wows yet... Just a few things I have noticed:

-It does not hurt to sit in the cafeteria chairs at work (the arms dont dig in my thighs) They still touch, but its no longer painful
-I feel more flexible (can bring my leg farther up towards my chest now)
-While sitting in a car, I can pick up things I have dropped on the floor (without opening the door)
-I feel "lighter", not as bloated all the time

I'm still dealing with post op complications but I don't wanna be a Debbie Downer so I won't open that can of worms.

On to the pics!!!

Pre Op (in the waiting room before surgery)

And here are the pics I took this morning:

I got this from a post from Jenna Lynn:

Percent of excess weight lost:

Pounds lost divided by total excess pounds

(using a BMI of 25 as a goal weight)

On track to lose it all is 25% lost after 2 months, 50% after 6 months, and 80% at one year.

So I need to lose 37lbs before January 30th 2010 to be on track. I'm going to keep chugging along

I'm getting my 3 month labs drawn first week in November and I'll be sure to post when I get the results back!

Thank you for reading!!! And everyone's support on this rollarcoaster journey!!

There is a noticeable difference ... you may be wearing the same clothes, but they're certainly not fitting the same way.  I changed sizes very slowly in the beginning, but it seems like I change sizes all the time now.  You could probably use some smaller clothes - my daughter says that I still choose clothes that are too big.

Congrats -- it gets better from here!

Come to think about it... The last time I weighed 348lbs was about 3 years ago. And I was wearing the same size as I am now.

My Mom bought me a peacoat jacket for Christmas when I was 18, and I can still fit it now.

My problem was, I was too stubborn to order clothes from a catalog so I would stuff myself in stretchy 28's at Lane Bryant.

I think once I lose another 50lbs I'll have to buy new clothes.

Thanks for the support JC!

Thank you for the kind words Kristina!

I've never liked shopping in the past. Always getting whatever would fit.

Maybe that will change the more I lose?

It will be very interesting to see!

I'm sure it will be more fun! I can't wait for that part of this process myself. In fact, my daughter told me I have to buy two pairs of jeans the next size down now, so that I don't embarrass her by wearing my pants too big on me. After that, I have a lot that my sil has saved for me, and then those my daughter has 'undergrown' with her weight loss too. I love shopping, but to be honest, I don't want to spend the money on clothes until I get to goal, then I want to really splurge!!!!
