Obamacare hits home ~

*snork*  I'm not THAT old to remember what that climate actually felt like, but political ghosts of the past do still hang around the states, yes.

Exactly so, although Obama being able to honestly say, "I didn't screw you more than you were already screwed" isn't THAT much of a recommendation.  Oh well no doubt whoever is president in 2013 will just have to re-visit health care yet again.

My company just dropped my plan because the rates went up over 40%, and I had a pretty crappy plan to begin with.  Now they want to go with an HSA, which is "what the agent recommends".

I'm so glad to hear that everyone who didn't want insurance and never wanted to pay for it will now be covered at the taxpayers' expense, and our rates skyrocketed.  Makes me sick to think about how much worse this will be when it hits full force.

I guess I'll be on the govt plan too, because my company can't afford the new rates, and I know the HSA is a total disaster to boot.

Obamacare...where did this all go wrong?  I hate that they signed "anything" to get it done, but didn't bother to come up with the best plan for all.

What plan, exactly, is that?  (As far as I can tell it's the imaginary plan in the heads of Obama-haters, but if you have better info, I'm willing to learn.)

 Barney Frank was just talking about the "Government Plan" last week on CSPAN.  Granted, the bill has not been drafted yet, but they are working on it.  Barney said so!

Nothing more specific on how I can see/read what he is supposed to have said?
