Finally HOME and a few questions about feeding tube
I just got rid of my tube at 7 weeks. It was a great security blanket. I put everything down that thing I didn't want to taste. Liquid vitamins, pain meds, every protein shake I had and just plain water. If you are cramping in direct relation to the feeding tube try slowing it down. I got crampy when I pushed stuff through too fast.
I hope things get better quickly for you!

HA! You know you have to leave the hospital to get rest
btw, I did have a regular bowel movement today and spent half the morning trying to get my port to my feeding tube open, it was crazy kind of stuck. It doesn't have the bulb thing that holds it in place and it's placed in my small bowel. www.medicaldepartmentstore.com/PhotoDetails.asp
Anyone know what to call it when they are placed like this one?

Like has been said before all the protein you don't like goes in that tube plus water to hydrate. I had my tube removed at 6wks but could of sooner but I felt that having it was insurance so if I wasn't feeling like eating I could get what was needed that way. I did feel like I had it about a week too long but it didn't hurt me any.
