Thanks for posting Leslie, it's so good to hear from you; I think the whole board was pretty worried there for awhile. Is there anything you need we can help with?

Here's hoping the rest of your recovery is smooth as a babies bottom.

Leslie:  I just know you are going to rock the DS.  Please share your story, but only when you are up to it.  I'm so glad you are home.  Getting back home makes all the difference in the world, doesn't it?

Now sip, sip, sip.  And smile.  Repeat.

Leslie, so wonderful to see you posting.  Your great angels have kept us informed of your post-op complications, so scary!  I'm so glad your home (but not that you had bad care...booo!).  Take care of yourself and thank you for sharing your story.  It is important that everyone knows the possibilities of complications with the DS and with surgical procedures in general.

Do you know what your long term prognosis is with regard to the muscle loss?  Are your kidneys doing ok now?

Sending good and healing thoughts your way *hugs*

Leslie, you are one tough chick!  I hope in a couple months, you are loving your DS.  Don't be afraid of scaring anyone - we all need to weigh the risks of complications against the potential benefits of surgery.  Thinking of you, girl.
