Hey All - My first chance to post
So glad to see you posting! We were all quite worried about you! Yes, please tell us your story when you are up to it. First, rest, sip, walk, repeat. I assume you can walk a little? I am sure the more you do it, the easier it will get. Your body is an amazing creation, and it knows what to do to get well!
I am sorry that one of the many surgical risks happened to you. Happy it is behind you, and that you are on the mend! Keep in touch!

So glad to see you posting again. I am so sorry that all of this has happened to you but so glad that you are doing better, all be it slowly. still better. I'm glad that you decided to post what happened. I am a pre op and I have been a member of this forum for over a year. I love to read all the wows and surgiversaries, but I always make time for updates and complications. These are the IMPORTANT threads. Everyone needs to know that complications are real and they happen. I'm glad I'm not going into this "blindly" or "eyes wide shut" if you will. If I had been able to get my surgery within a few weeks or months of finding Dr Husted, I knew nothing and complications I didn't even think of. Now almost two years later and a little over a month till surgery I am prepared. Alot of the thanks goes to people like you who share their stories. I wish you a speedy recovery. Hugs to you always!

OH Honey I am soooo glad to see you posting!!! We have been so worried about you! Your situation is scary for sure BUT please DO NOT be afraid to post it here. EVERYONE needs to understand the risks of this or ANY surgery. We don't just need to see butterflies and rainbows!! I want to see Cow **** and Mud pies to!
So post away give us the details and keep us updated (if you feel like it) that is why we are here. I am still pre op and it doesn't put my off on getting the DS. It just makes me realize that surgery is no joke!!
Again I am soooo glad that you are getting better!! Rest and get well soon. We miss you!

SHE'S ALIVE!!! lol welcome back! Share your story when you feel more up to it. I think it is a good one. It is important for people to know what possible complications there are with surgery. This is one that i was unfamiliar with.

WELCOME HOME, SWEETIE!!!!
I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am to see you posting! Woo-Hoo!!!!
Keep taking those 'baby steps' - and with each day your strength will grow.
Please, do share your story...when you're up to it. It really is important for pre-ops to know the possible complications. Helps to be mentally prepared.
((((((HUGS)))) So good to see your sweet, smiling face again on the board!
XOXO
