This part is all about staying hydrated and moving.  Sip, walk, rest...repeat.  Don't worry about eating.  That will come with time.

Do worry about sipping, walking and resting and do LOTS of those!!

Welcome to the bench!!!  You are in for a wild ride.

WOW welcome home, already! Everything must be going along pretty smoothly for you to be home already. Hopefully you'll get some relief soon. Like everyone else said, sip, walk, rest, repeat! Glad to see your update. Congrats!

Hang in there, it get better, but you're probably not going to feel like eating for some time. It took me 2 months to feel like eating, some get there sooner, but some don't, ya just won't know until you get through it. But the important thing is that you will get through it.

Just get the fluids in, take your meds, walk and sleep, if you can get in some food, all the better, if not, it's not a big deal.

Hi.  So glad you are doing pretty well.   It is not abnormal to have NO interest in food--in time you will and for now just concentrate on resting and sipping.

I'm sorry I didn't get to talk with you when I called the other day.  Best to you and hope we can catch up when you are feeling better.

Hi Switch Sister! You beat me on both part... You made it to the dark side a couple of hours earlier and you made it home about 24 hours before me.

Gosh Darn... I felt HORRIBLE the first 24-36 hour!  I had no clue I would feel that bad!  UGH!  But like our vets here on line say, "It only gets better!"  72 hours out and I am feeling 100% better!  Thank you God!

I don't have much interest in food either.  I had a bite of cheese and 2 cubes of watermelon.  I am  really struggling with my fluids.  I bought case of the Bariatric Advantage BELIEVE Cappuccino and Mocha.  I really liked them pre-op and they are pretty good today.  20 g. protein in a 9.5 oz bottle.

I am recovering for the next 10 days at a state camp grounds in our NICE camper.  (I like knowing who, what, when, where... went on inside my 4 walls!  LOL)  Plus I get to have 4 of my 5 fur-babies with me for the next 10 days!  They are all ready making me smile and cuddling with me!

Keep rockin' your DS Babe!
xoxo
