Hi all!  Lovin' the warm weather in Indiana.  For the first time in many months I am not cold!  We are going to try out a new place for dinner this month that has outside seating by the Broad Ripple Canal.  I can't wait!

Dinner
(2nd Tuesday each month)
Tuesday, June 8th, 6:00pm - ?

Canal Bistro Mediterranean Grille, 6349 Guilford Ave, Indianapolis, IN, 46220
Menu Online

Everyone is welcome to come to our events - those researching, pre-ops, newbies, and veterans.
Please let me know if you plan to attend so that I can reserve enough seats.  You can post your  RSVP to this post or you can pm me.  It's always a fun time!

Support Group (4th Tuesday each month)
Tuesday, June 22nd, 6:30pm - 8:00pm

St. Vincent Carmel,  Bariatric Center, Entrance 4
Map of location

The support group meeting, lead by a St Vincent nurse or dietitian, is open to all pre- and post-op patients regardless if they had surgery at St Vincents.   We often grab a bite to eat afterward.

For future dates and locations, check the calendar in my sig line.

We can bring our dogs instead of sending them to day camp if you want. The beagle might pass for human.

On the journey to losing weight, your friends & family will be the first people to try to knock you off. They do this not out spite, but out of being convicted and knowing they should do the same. It's easier to put someone down for doing the right thing, than for them to actually do it. So at your next family re-union or wherever you are eat your chicken and broccoli and smile when they make jokes about you, they are jealous!
