And thank you for coming back and posting. 
It's kinda scary when you notice that the veterans post less and less and then you don't see them much any more.  You always wonder if it's because they are out there living and loving the DS life, or if it's because of issues that have arisen that they just don't want to share with others.

Based on the studies with good follow-up rates over the years, it is more likely that people are doing well and getting on with living when they disappear.  For me, this is my pro bono work -- promoting knowledge about the DS -- so I feel committed to doing it.  Others lose interest in staying connected with their past as an MO person, and wander off.

In fact, if people start having problems, they tend to come back, in my experience.  Maybe not always here on the main board, but on the main and DS problems boards on Yahoo.

Great post Charlie!  Congrats on reclaiming your life!  It's always appreciated for us pre-ops to see longer vets posting....so thanks!
