Worried - Colonoscopy Update
Thank you to all *****sponded to me last week. I have calmed down a bit, and I'm pretty sure things are going to be fine. Part of what had me so upset too was I think the fact that in addition to the colonoscopy issues, I had cardiac testing going on. And so far, about 2/3 of that testing has come back fine, normal.
With the approval of my DS surgeon, my colonoscopy is scheduled for next Thursday. It seems pretty easy, running to the bathroom alot in the day before shouldn't be a big deal for me at all . My big worry was how I was going to get there and back, being kind of far away from people who know me. My sister in law will be taking me, and bringing me back home. I'm very lucky to have family who knows how to help one another out.
Again, thanks for calming me down at a time when I really needed it.

My heart wrestles in a kilt
This year Wrestlemania is in Phoenix, Arizona. There are events a few days before, and they'll be around the next day (Monday) for a live show (that we are going to as well).
Next year we will be going to Atlanta, Georgia.
If nothing else, it's a great way to see the country!

Lisa fear of the unknown is common, I was in your position. I had my 1st colonoscopy this past July and I was amazed at how quick, painless, and instant results too . As part of my pre-op check-up my PCP had me get a stress test and I failed part of it and had to get a heart cath. I had some blockage on a small branch artery that was too small to stent or angioplasty. The fear of the unknown was worse than the procedure. You'll do fine and having family near is a great comfort. Have fun at wrestlemania and I hope Brett Hart gives Mr. McMahon a beat down. I'll be at Bristol next week for the race and Stone Cold Steve Austin is the grand marshall...Alan
