Sweeteners... artificial, real... whatever?

Stevia is bothering you or the stabilizers added to it?  Probably the stabilizers...maltodextrin, erythritol, etc are often added to bulk it up and provide some heft and "crystal" form.

Here's my copied and pasted spiel about stevia EXTRACT, from my blog.  It's not going to cause any abdominal problems...the amounts you need are too little to even do so.  For ice tea by the glass, you can even get a liquid form...comes with a lil dropper and everything.  Add in and stir, don't even need to dissolve anything.  Make sure it's extract not powder.  Powder willl have the stabilizers, bulking agents.  Extract won't.  How do you know you have the right stuff?  Serving size will be teeny...1/32th of a teaspoon. >> Follow this link to my blog post >> Try Stevia Extract Today!

I recommend the brand NuNaturals.  Hands down, it's the bomb.  It tastes the best and is not bitter at all.

Kayla,

I just checked my Stevia and it has rice maltodextrin in it... hmmmmm. Under the supplement facts it also lists sugar... hmmmm. What's up with that. I bought this at Trader Joes and I thought it was pure Stevia.

I'll check out the NuNaturals brand. Thanks!

I use real sugar or agave in moderation. Agave is very good for things like tea, because you don't need a lot to sweeeten things up.
