PLEASE HELP ME
I agree with some of the other posters. You need to seek IMMEDIATE treatment from a QUALIFIED surgeon, which yours does not seem to be. Be scared enough and smart enough to pursue this right away. Now. Don't sit on the message board reading responses unless you're picking up the phone to dial the numbers of doctors that people have posted for you.
I would absolutely call Dr. Buchwald (Minneapolis, MN). It's right on the border of WI / MN. Here is the thing with him......he specializes in OPEN surgeries, has a very low complication rate, almost exclusively does DS's......and was one of the original people who "invented" the gastric bypass as we know it today. He is world-known for his statistics and low complication rate, along with the fact that he runs a LOT of the studies that you see published regarding the DS. Call them immediately & tell them what's going on. I fear if you go into the regular ER - they are not going to know what to do. A friend of mine had that issue, because they just were not familiar with WLS patients at all......
I wish you the best!

Tasha get in the car and head to an ER where there is an EXPERIENCED DS surgeon!!! and do it NOW! You are in trouble GF and I think as soon as you get things squared away your next step should be a good malpractice attorney.

Your surgeon told you that you have a hernia that's leaking and he knows you're vomiting feces and he didn't give you instructions????
I didn't see when you posted this, but if this has continued, you need to get yourself to an ER immediately and bring the contact information for your surgeon.
This is not a stay-at-home and seek second opinions type of situation. This is a go-to-the ER and seek help immediately situation.

I had a pm from Tasha about 20 minutes ago. She still hasn't left for the ER. I told her to call Dr. Alverdy and he would tell her what to do. I also suggested that she take the phone number for the hospital that did the CT Scan so they can get access to that scan to hurry things along.
I am concerned that she is waiting. Hopefully she will let someone know what's going on.
