Take a look and please send suggestions :)

I started the Vitalady suppliment regimen 1 month post op. The only change is I take 150 of Iron and not 300. Everything else is the same.

I see the doc for my 3 month check-up Wednesday.

your a and D are real low. I'd increase both. Also your prealbumin is low, so that means you need more protein.

Scott My A and D are higher than my post-op numbers :)

I'm getting in 100g of protein a day.  How much do I need to up it to?  My doc says never go over 110 EVER.

My B-12 was 193 and I have been doing 5K sublingual / day. I guess I need to back that down a bit.

So everything else looks pretty good?

Here's what I'm taking /day

Vitamin C             3000 mg
Calcium                2250
Copper                  2mg
Multi                      2/day
Vitamin E             800IU
Vitamin A             100,000 IU
Vitamin B-12       5000mcg
B-Complex           1/day
Vitamin D-3         50,000 IU
Zinc                       100mg
Magnesium
Citrate                   140mg
Iron                        150mg

Meh, don't worry about that 110 grams of protein being some kind of magic number. If I were in your shoes, I'd add another 30 grams or so and see how that helps.

Oh, I see you're taking some iron. Is it the Tender Iron? That stuff works great for me so far.

I am taking a poly-sacarride iron (150mg) from Vitalady. Looks like I'll be taking 2 starting tomorrow.

I have some tender iron...but taking one capsule vs 6 tablets made my mind up :)

I'd be taking at least 3000 mg of calcium a day, at least 100,000 IUs of D, and maybe add 110,000 IUs of A.

As for the protein, I would add at least 2 more protein shakes a day. THIS IS MY OPINION: DSers need protein shakes, we don't have all our intestines in play and we need something that is easily absorbed. Again that is an opinion and not a medical fact; but from my experience and what i've read from others on this forum, protein shakes have kept us on our game.

Yup, ditto what Scotty said. Kick the D and A up quite a lot, add a little Tender Iron (Vitalady) and increase your protein.

So would I double my A and D?

I can also double my iron from 150 to 300 with 2 poly irons.

I'd go to 100,000 IU of D fersure. You want that D number hovering around 100 or as close as you can get it. With the A, my usual method is to pop an extra pill daily till the next labs, except for one time when I was down to 17 or so. Then I more than doubuled the A intake.
