Kerry,
Happy Surgiversary!!!  You've done an amazing job with your DS.  Your picture trail shows that you are now living life.   Yes, relationships do change when you lose weight.  It shouldn't take losing weight for others to respect us and think differently of us, it's very sad, but I've noticed it too.  I'm sure that Barb is as excited just seeing the changes you've made this last year.  congrats!!!

Thanks Chris and I suppose some of the changes are from other people thinking differently about me, but mostly it's my own attitude and how I think about myself much more than it is how other people treated me. I don't think I was treated badly by others when I was obese; but I was ashamed of myself to a degree because I couldn't get my weight under control. Barb was always loving and supportive and never gave me any grief about my weight, it was pretty much all me that was the problem.

((((((Kerry)))))) -- Happy Surgiversary!!!  Thanks for letting us share your amazing journey.  You've shown that we can be successful no matter our age, previous surgery mistakes, etc.  It's a wonderful gift that you've been so open and you've surely paid it forward many times over with folks thinking about RNY.

Glad you feel great -- you look great, and from the labs you posted recently you look just as good on the inside!  So happy for you and Barb,

Deb

Thank you Morrigahn, I'm so happy your home and storage is OK, I was really worried there for awhile. And now you have your DS; it's just a matter of time now and you will be a rockin like you would never have believed was possible. Buckle up, you're in for the ride of your life!

You're also very kind, thank you so much for your friendship.

Thanks Deb, it sure has been an amazing journey; a year ago, I would never have believed this day would or could come, but here it is and I'm just so happy and grateful to be here.

Happy surgiversary.  What a difference a year and 90 pounds make.  It has given you so much confidence.  You can really tell a difference in you pics.  I have followed your story and you are really encouraging and always willing to pay it forward.  Best Wishes to you.  I know that this next year has so many more amazing things in store for you.  I can't wait to see where I will be at  my surgiversary.

Thanks Donna, I can hardly believe it myself. If you would have told me this is what was in store, I would have laughed out loud, there would be no way I would have believed this was possible; but here I am and it's all happened!
