September Indianapolis DS Events

Hi all!  I love this time of year... Summer days  turn to fall, the weather cools down, and the kids are back in school.  I can't wait for the leaves to change!
This month the Indy DS group will be meeting the following dates.  Anyone is welcome to come - those researching, pre-ops, newbies, and veterans.

Dinner (3rd Monday each month)
Monday, Sept 21st, 6:00pm - ?
Maxine's Chicken & Waffles / map of restaurant

Please let me know if you plan to attend so that I can reserve enough seats.  

Support Group (4th Tuesday each month)
Tuesday, Sept 22nd, 6:30pm - 8:00pm
St. Vincent Carmel,  Bariatric Center, Entrance 4

We often grab a bite at Max & Erma's after the meeting.

I plan on attending both. Let's just hope that I can make it to the actual meeting this time!!!!!!!! Lord knows I need all the support I can get in this journey!!! Hope you are well Jess! And shoot, i am down for Maxines! Maybe we could ride together?

Yeah, none of this "I'm in the ER", missy!   We want to see you at ST V's in the meeting room, not in the ER room.

Oh, I forgot to post that I actually can't make it to Maxine's this month.  I have to wor****il 9pm.  Someone can drop Maxine's chicken wings off for me as they head north if they want!

I'll miss you guys this month but I'll try to both for October... my surgery is the 18th so I'll still be in KY for the dinner and support group.

 I'll try to be at both.  O man Jess, I totally have a place to go for the October Meeting.  Siam Square Thai Resteraunt on Virginia Ave...OMG!  It looks so good, and I really wanna try it.  WHO'S IN!..lol

Thai is my hands-down favorite!  Masaman curry, chicken satay, tom yam soup, pad prik, I could go on and on.....   I don't know if other folks would be into it but you can call me any time to go!

Okay, I'm coming.  I may have to opt out of the dinner if I get home too late from dance class with Ali.  We just barely get to Carmel by 6pm....I'll hafta let you know for sure.  I DO NOT wanna miss the peach butter.  I may have to bribe Brokie to bring me some to the meeting on Tues night if I don't make it.

I'm planning on Monday nights dinner...I've been wanting some more catfish and corn.  Ohhh...forgot about the peach butter...yum!   Not sure about Tues night unless I'm working in Carmel that day...but I'll see how the day goes.

 Providing I am still alive (see today's post)--I plan on attending the support meeting at least.
