Sounds normal, but DO make sure you're drinking plenty, okay?

Dehydration may be key for you, then.  Drinking and eating sucks right now, but you do it because you have to.

Tammy!  Three weeks out already???  Time is sure going by fast!  It is normal to be tired right now.  Take this time to baby yourself.  If you can, take extra naps and do nice little things for yourself.  You deserve a little pampering right now and of course you are gonna be tired, you just had major surgery!  Don't try to do too much...just be good to yourself!  Your energy will come back soon, just take it easy when you are tired. :)

I know this is not popular but I suggest that you add protein drinks several times a day, can't hurt.
I owed it to myself to research the duodenal switch before consenting to any other weight loss surgery and so do you.  Check out DSFacts.com and DuodenalSwitch.com for more information.  Remember think twice, cut once, revisions are risky and revision surgeons are rare.

I'm doing one a day right now just to make sure I get that 30 grams by 30 days thing. Everything I manage to eat is bonus. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to add another.

I was right there with you.  For the first two weeks I was walking every day and feeling great and then at 3 weeks I just kind of slumped.  I think it is pretty common, unfortunately.  It will pass quickly.

In the meanwhile I will reiterate what you've already read.  Stay on top of the hydration.  This has been a huge issue for me.  Every time I've felt unusually awful it's because I've been behind in my hydration, but spending just a few hours sipping continuously really seems to turn it around.  Second definately add at least one more protein shake in a day.  It will make a huge difference in how you feel and believe me no one hates those nasty things more than I do.

Good luck.  You'll be back to your old self in no time.

Thanks for the advice. It helps to know that it's so common at this point.

Sooo normal!  Take a nap!  My ass was still dragging at 6 weeks out.

Just get in your protein, water, walk, and rest rest rest . . . . you'll be fine.
