Where the heck did my energy go?
I was 3 weeks out as of yesterday. I've been doing ok. I've been up and out every day since getting home from Brazil. I don't think I've overdone it because I've really been taking it easy even when we're out. BUT yesterday I just totally crashed. I had 0 energy. I was lucky to get up out of my chair AND I took a nap in the afternoon which I haven't done since a couple of days post-op. I'm forcing myself to get up and out again today, but honestly I would love to just spend a whole other day just sitting in my chair.
Normal...not normal? Any suggestions as to getting some level of energy?

Definitely normal for me. I'm about 7 weeks out, and I still have days where I don't want or can't do anything. I've been waiting for my energy to come back. Sounds like you've done better than me though. I would do quite a few things one day and the next be zonked. I'm still this way to an extent.
Hope this helps. Take it easy on yourself and rest when you need it.

So nice to see you home Susie. How was it for you? Were you alone? And the kiddos are fine I presume? Rock that DS!

I had the same thing happen, too. At week two, I was feeling pretty good. Then at week three, I just fell apart. I've seen a couple other forum members say the same thing, so I think it just happens to some of us.
Be prepared for a few slothful weeks. It will get better, eventually. And dontcha wish "eventually" meant "in five days," instead of "when your body is good and ready." Goodness knows I do!
Glad you are home and healing.
