Who benefited from DSers posting on other forums?
I thought I'd replied to this earlier, but evidently not.
I am among the lucky ones who learned about the DS from one of these posts. Otherwise I might not have learned of the DS, or at least not realized I could fight my insurance company to get the DS, since I was never told of the surgery's existance. (So much for informed consent, Kaiser.)
So I adore those "renegades" who put up these posts that confront newbies and challenge us to learn about the Duodenal switch.
Kudos to the many helpful DS vets.

Yep, I had a crap band that had to be removed and was looking at VSG and saw something about the DS on that board and/or the main board. I am very grateful as I wait for my date to be switched. Thanks to Diana for her incredible selflessness in trying to help others even though she knows she is going to be blasted by people who clearly the message is NOT intended for.
