I use Source CF chewables.  You can purchase them form sourcecf.com.  They are 29.99 for 90, and if you order 3 bottles the shipping is free. They are bubblegum flavored.  I was glad for the change from the ADEK brand.  I felt like everything was orange flavored after surgery. JInjer

Jinjer beat me to it.  I was gonna tell you about the Source CF stuff.  These are forumulated for Cystic Fibrosis patients that also can''t absorb fat and fat soluble vitamins in their diet.  They also have gelcaps  that you can just swallow.  They are water miscible and Dr. Smith says they're okay to take.  You can order from sourcecf.com; and as Jinjer says, order 3 bottles, and shipping's free.

Jinjer, Leanne, Thank you girls.  I saw those, but I compared the IU's etc and it was higher than the Axcan, so I didn't know if it was something specifically for CF patients. Do y'all take 3 a day of those like the other ones?  And Jinjer, it seems post op world IS all orange, and grape too mebbe Yackkk I USED ta like orange too. LOL   Thanks dahlings. xoxoxo Toni

I take ONE ADEK a day and two just DRY A&D (which are WAAAAAAAAY cheaper!) from vitacost.com or vitalady.com or some other such site.  Plus, as you say, the values for K and E are higher with the ones from source CF, so you would ESPECIALLY only need one of these per day. My mom's labs were a little off pre-op with HIGH A and low D.  I put her on a supplement regime after her DS, and her 3 mo. labs were PERFECT!  PERFECT LABS at 3 months out!  That's astounding! Stick with me kid, and I'll keep ya straight!  LOL!

I showed Dr. Smith the differing amounts, and he has me taking just 2 of the Source CF vitamins.  He said he will adjust if needed after my 6 month check up.  My 3 month labs were great!!! Jinjer

Thanks so much Leanne, Jinjer and Charlie. What would I do without y'all? You girls let me know when you're back up this way for your 6 mo. checkup now, ok?  Bunches of grateful hugs!  Toni

I had the same problem.  I don't particularly like the flavor of the Centrum Chewables, but it's tolerable.  The ADEK's from Axscan got to the point that I absolutely hated taking them, it was like the worst sweet tart.  Dr. Smith suggested I try the Source CF and I absolutely love them.  In fact, I just ordered 4 bottles to replenish my supply.
