I was not, by any means, implying that Dr Wynn's surgerical abilities were the result of the pouch stretching. And I also have complied with all the restrictions of my surgery. This is just my opinion, as I have not had an appointment with the Dr. to even confirm this. Please don't be so critical.
You might want to check with CHRIAS about the revision surgery. Seems to me that they will in certain cir****tances. I have a friend that went to Florida for her revision. Evidently when we have RNY, the new pouch can be made a variety of sizes. Small, mediun or large, My friend was told that her pouch was large thus she was able to eat more, She did stretch it and the revision pleated the new pouch smaller and she was able to loose again.
The window of oppurtunity helps us loose and we need to try to develope good eating habits and above all remain focused and positive. You've made a good choice in coming to get advice, good & bad. Check with the Dr's. Try to come to a support group. You'll be welcomed and can ask questions and get some positive feedback.

First off -- There were no implications against the surgeon just a simple question being asked. If you had taken the time to read the question thoroughly you would have seen that it was just a question asking if Dr. Wynn had done any revision surgeries for stretched pouches ... not that she had caused the stretched pouch or was to blame for it.
In many instances stretched pouches come from non-compliance, but we all know that each individual who has had the surgery is completely different and their successes/complications/failures are as uniquely different as well. For all we know this person may have followed the rules to the tee and for some unexplained reason received a stretched pouch for his/her hard work. Stranger things have happened.
In answer to the original question I know of no one who has had a revision for a stretched pouch under Dr. Wynn, but she did my RnY and although I'm struggling a bit at the moment she changed my life for the better and I will be forever grateful to her for that.
Any other questions ... feel free to post.
