And because someone asked about the protein I've been using, here's a link to the Celebrate Vitamins store.
The Vanilla Cake Batter/Chocolate Milk protein with the vitamins and calcium has 140 calories per 2 scoop serving, 500 mg of calcium citrate and 25 g of whey protein. 2 of them per day should cover 50 g of protein, plus almost all of your vitamins and calcium for the day (depending on if you take extra iron or B12 or not). They also have the drink packets that have all the same as their protein that leaves out the protein and has the vitamins and calcium. That comes in Citrus Splash (think Tang) and Wild Cherry. I think all of these are good, especially for a newly post-op like me, or someone who is bored of something else and wants some variety.
I used code BTV459 at checkout and got 10% off my order, too.
You can also ask them for free samples and they'll happily send you a sample of pretty much anything but the protein (they don't have enough stock for them to do samples of that yet).
And no, I don't get any commission. :)

Was a pleasure to meet you last night, Amy. Very easy to remember your name because you were sitting next to our other Amy (who I hope gets better for her cruise!). :)
Yes, I had a great time again. I really enjoyed the company of everyone and I know that will keep me coming back.
Hope you feel better soon!
(And everyone keep posting!)

I just wanted to let you all know I am soooo glad that agility was cancelled last night, as it was FANTASTIC to meet you all. You are such a fun and positive group I hope that the off week of agility will fall on your meetings more often! :-)
Just thought I would give you a FYI - I went to the nueropathic Dr. this afternoon. He thinks he feels a small hernia (possibly) near the Y connection to my remnant stomach, but he also was able to track the nerves that feed into the area with pain. He did a nerve block w/steriods and hopes that the steroids will heal the nerve. (This is a longer lasting nerve block than Peters has done before as it has potential to last months!) If it doesn't last long or after it wears off we are back where we started from, then we are in ANOTHER surgery (a nerve procedure to imbed the nerce) Not quite sure what that means!
Anyway, I hope to see you next month! :-)

I may have had a few extra potholes along the way, but the journey has been good!

Topic: RE: I fit my butt into the booth at The Charcoal Pit on 202!
That's awesome, Kim. I don't know if I can fit in that booth as I've not been there in years, but I can share that I'm now able to fit in some booths as I was able to when I went to Texas Roadhouse with my sister a week ago. So, I can share your feelings and congratulate you on your victory. :)

Charcoal Pit has always been a fav. I would only do the take out for years. I have taken the grandkids a few times over the last couple kids. I eat some of a cheesteak without the roll. I will also have 2 French fries. Yumm.
Funny, the 1st booth I fit into was at "Outback" on 202. A great Wow moment. There Coconut shrimp is awesome.
Lots more Wow moments to come.

Okay, so WOW moment. Anyone from PA or DE been to The Charcoal Pit on 202? The booths there are ridiculously small and the last time I was there (at least 4 years ago) I could not fit into the booth. Tonight, I slid right in and was actually comfortable! This is incredible. I just had to share with my OH friends. Oh, yeah and I had pulled pork w/o the roll...tasted awesome.

Topic: RE: HI!!!!
Congratulations, Joe. You're doing so well! Three miles IS a lot, especially when you're just beginning your exercise program.
Ireland weather. What a great analogy. I absolutely LOVE Ireland. My husband, some friends and I went there on a vacation 6 years ago. It was probably my favorite vacation to date. I'd go back there in a second (if I had the funds LOL).
See you at the next meeting. Nina
