14 pounds lost before surgery. My first ticker is when I hit onderland: this was my goal when I started on this journey. I want to focus on that right now...once I get there I can reevaluate.
My second ticker is my dream goal. Even if I only visit there for a short time, it would be nice to see that number just once. I am pretty sure I'll need plastics to hit this goal.

Okay, by now some of you know who the guest speaker was. What a hoot. We are stepping up the monthly meetings. Going high-tech. Going to have special events along with each meeting. Surprise!! Surprise. Thanks to Michael & Robyn for taking care of the meeting while I am away. I'll be back for April's meeting. That's a promise. Everyone can bring a small healthy snack to share and a protein drink to share also. You guys are the best of the best. I love my WLS Ohana (family). Bet ya can't guess where I am??

Tuesday night, the 19th, we have a WLS Support Group led by post-op-patients. Come and you can ask any questions you might have. The Delaware board is not active any longer.
Next week hopefully folks will bring Protein drinks. We are having a protein drink buffet and a guest speaker. So if you are in the market to find a couple protein drink possibilities, com,e look and listen.

2013: 20 Funny New Year's Resolutions
When it comes to New Year's resolutions, our family members and friends can get quite creative and even funny with what they resolve to do in the New Year. Here a few good ones I have heard along the way...Oh, and a few of my own!
1. I resolve to stop procrastinating about procrastinating!
2. I will stop sending Facebook messages and emails to my loved ones when they are in the same room as I am!
3. I will use my treadmill for something other than a place to hang my jacket.
4. I will not sit at the kitchen table in my PJ's all day. Instead, I will move my computer to my bedroom.
5. I vow to never take a laxative and a sleeping pill on the same night!
