Hi Joanne,
Thanks for the words of encouragement and the prayers.  Hospice came out on Wed morning and did another evaluation on Hazel and told us that her health is declining and her cancer is progressing.  We filled out an application for the Hospice House in Denton, MD, but they only have 3 beds, so she is on a waiting list.  They were able to get us a lift chair, we just need to go and get it.  Once we get that it will be easier to get her up and to the pot.  Doug and I have a deal that if we say something mean or hurtful that we both know it is from lack of sleep or just fear of what we are going thru.  He knows I am here for him and that I am not going anywhere.  He did get out for about 40 minutes today and ran into Seaford for some things, but he told me today he hates to leave her because he is afraid of what might happen while he is gone.  I feel so bad for him.  He asked me the other day where I am getting my strength and faith from and I told him that I truly believe that if God brings me to it He will carry me through it.  This is just another one of those "Footprints in the Sands" and when I look back there will only be 1 set of footprints because God is carrying me right now.  He has been talking a lot lately about going to church with me, my minister has been here twice to see Hazel and Doug and Doug really liked him, so if he does decide to come hopefully he will find some peace there.

I have a request. Trader Joe's has decided to stop carrying SMUCKER'S diet cranberry  beverage from juice concentrate. There are so few items we can drink. This is 1 that I have loved for the past 5 years. For 8 oz there were 20 calories, with 3 g of sugar. I called Smucker's tonite to find out where I could purchace it. Unfortunetly it was made specfically for Trader Joe's only. If enough of us contact Trader Joe's and Smucker's maybe we could get it on the shelves again. Talk to their customer support reps. Marketing and retail.

I was told last night you will no longer carry Smucker's Cranberry juice from concentrate. After contacting Smucker's, I was told that they made the product specificatelly for Trader Joe's and noone else. I cannot go to another vendor to purchase it.
I had gastric bypass 5 yrs ago, so the fact that there were 3 grams of sugar, only 20 calories, and 5 grams of carbohydrates made it my beverage of choice. I am active in my local WLS community and I often take other patients to Trader Joe's to go through the store, reading labels and learning how to adjust to our new way of eating healthy. There are many products that I endorse as healthy and promote Trader Joe's as a gastric bypass Friendly store. Hope to see it on your shelves again soon. Thanks for your replay.
