Take each day and pat yourself on the back. It is a hard habit to break. I am glad I never got started with that, but I watched my father and father-in-law fight the battle daily. Lots of good luck. Ellen

Thanks, Ellen. The patches help the physical aspect, but I miss it. My kids don't say too much, they get disappointed when I relapse. Dianne Day 4

Hey Dianne. Good luck girl. I quit about 15 yrs ago. Hypnotist worked for me. Best $$ I ever spent on myself. Only bad thing was that's how I got to 376 lbs. I gained about 15 lbs a year times 15 yrs = 225 lbs. I'm still have 30 lbs to go. The last 30 will be the hardest. Keep trucking girl. You looked great when I saw you last. OBTW how's Deb doing? Hope all is well for her too. ((HUGS)) Elissa

Thanks, E. It's tough, moreso emotionally. I'm hoping I don't gain any weight from this, we'll see. I'm still about the same 14's adn 16's. Some of the 14's are tight due to this hernia that looks like it is getting bigger. My sister, Debbie, is doing well. She's a teeny size 6. She's short with the little bone structure. She looks good. Hey T Thanks! We never did hook up for an outing. Is your cell# still the same? You had just changed it and gave me the new one. Dianne

That is good....Day three...I can't wait until you post you are 30 days smoke free. I will be looking for that post! Keep up the good work. Remember Rome was not built in a day....Habits are hard to break but you can do it! Hugs Debbie

Debbie Thanks for the encouragement. Only 26 more days to go for that one... In Nov when the hospital went smoke-free, I was quitting every Monday. Not smoking Mon - Fri and then pulling off the patch lunchtime on Friday to set myself up to smoke again after work on Fri. Then I just didn't stop again one Monday. I'm trying to convince myself that the weekend of smoke is just not worth it! Dianne
