PLATEAU HELP!!!!
Kim,
Where are you in this journey? Sometimes early on you will plateau because the body has to catch up......Sometimes its water intake, or protein levels not up to par....Are you keeping a food diary? Can you share what you are eating? How about your vitamins are you getting them in and when? If you post this information and where you are in this journey we could help you better. There is nothing on your profile to help.

Well I'm about 11 months out. I take all my vitamins (4 optisource, 3 iron & 1 b-12) a day, and I get in about 75 grams of protein a day. I was eating too many carbs for a while, but now I'm back to mostly meat & veggies. Lots of yogurt too. I'm trying to cut down my intake as well since I was eating a little too much for a while. I've been stuck @ 190 & I can't get any further...Any advice would be appreciated!!!
Do you know what your calorie count is? My nut said if I wanted to lose at 12 mos I needed to keep the calories around 1200. Now I will tell you I lost a few pounds from that point on....they say an 18 month window but some of us stop before that. Our bodies are happy where they are....we are not! Its so hard in this part of the journey. You want to get to goal but your body won't let you. I would continue what you are doing. Maybe up the protein to 90 grams a day and cut down the carbs....keep the calories around 1200 a day and exercise. The loss changes so quickly...you may see a pound or two come off. Not many see the 7 lb drop at this point although I have heard a few people say they were still doing that....I wasn't one of those people. Joanne did a plateau buster diet.....I looked at it and decided it wasn't for me....it reminded me of a diet. Perhaps she will see my post here and post the diet for you.

Don't worry hon, we're all that that stage now (I mean the ones I know who had their surgeries around the same time we did). I've been up & down with the same 3 pounds for a month now. Officially I'm at 178 & holding. Mix it up some now. Different foods. Don't get in a rut. Change up your exercise too. Sometimes out bodies just get used to what we're doing and need to be tricked.
