WOO-HOO! Got my consult appointment!!

OMG! This is really happening, isn't it? This is awesome! I am so excited! Mickie from Dr. Wynn's office called me just now and gave me my consultation appointment. It's tentatively set for June 22 at 11:30 a.m. I called yesterday and the gal that took my info said someone would call me back. Since no one did, I called them again today...it was lunch time and they were closed. I left a message for them to call me back. Mickie called me back right at 1:30, when they re-open after lunch! She said I was not in the system, that whoever I talked to yesterday goofed, so she took my info again and actually put me on the cancellation waiting list for an appointment before that, if someone cancels. How cool is that??? She said it was their mistake that I had to do the info thing again, so she did that favor for me. She also slipped some info on what I can do right now to get my pre-surgery requirements out of the way. I will get cardio and pulmo clearances done, but can't get the nutritionist thing done until after my consult appointment. I might just be on and off the table by the end of July! WOO-HOO!
