I just wanted everyone to know that i am home from my lap band surgery. I had the surgery on Thursady with Dr. Wynn. I came home on Friday, but didn't feel up to typing anything until now. everything went well, except that they had to put in an extra stitch in the one incision, and that has been causing me a lot of pain. I want to thank everyone for their well wishes and kind thoughts. I really appreacite it. I'll update later when i begin to feel better. Scott

Hey, Scott, I'm glad to hear you're doing OK. I was banded the day before you & today is my best day so far. The pain in the "stab wounds" was worse than I expected. Food still tastes spoiled. On the plus side, I was able to walk (make that stroll) for 25 minutes this afternoon. I hope you're feeling better soon. Fran

Hey Scott, Welcome home, I was banded on the 7th, and I can't say the week-end has been a breeze but I sure each day we will find ourselves feeling better....Linda

Best of luck to all of you. I am sure you will all do well with it! I had lap band surgery on 9/30 and am about 6 months out. It was the best decision I have ever made.

Scott, what pain medicine did she give you? I ask because Tylenol with codine makes me feel sick, but Percocet is okay for some reason. I'm glad you are doing well. Take care, Renay

Renay, I did get the tylenol w/ codine. it's in the liquid form. i don't know if percocet comes in liquid, but if it does that might be a good option for you. best of luck! Scott
